Good news: A double-sided polygon made in modeler is really two
single-sided polygons back-to-back. Bad news: You can't use unify on'em
(but you can try). I don't know if this will help any, but if you select
a polygon that's double sided then hit Info (i), you can de-select on of
them, and thus delete (either with Cut or Kill (k) ) the other. Still a
real pain, but it MIGHT (maybe) be easier than re-making the whole thing.
